Whether you just want to improve your riding and the way your horse goes or whether you are aiming for International teams, JB Showjump Training will help you reach your goals. With regular training and individual lesson plans, Johnathan will be delighted to work with you to improve your performance and bring out the best in your horse and you as a rider.

Sessions can be videoed with playback and discussion to identify key areas and plan future sessions.

We are delighted to cater for all levels and abilities of horse and rider, Johnathan has years of experience and knows just how to get the very best out of both horse and rider.

Johnathan teaches clients from all over Wiltshire and Gloucestershire and often holds clinics and training sessions farther afield. His pupils range from young children who are just starting out up to experienced Eventers and Showjumpers who are looking to fine-tune their performance.

It only takes a matter of minutes of watching a horse/pony and rider together for Johnathan to identify where the issues are. His pupils find that Johnathan has a knack of understanding their problems and giving practical advice in a way that they find easy to put into practice.

Having identified which areas you need to work on, Johnathan will tailor training exercises to help you correct any problems. If you are looking to continue progressing steadily, Johnathan can put together a plan of action for the whole season that gives you realistic goals you can achieve as you go. Regular lessons will ensure that you don't slip into any bad habits that can cause other issues with your horse/pony and can be difficult to unlearn.

Johnathan has had significant successes and the results of his pupils speak for themselves. Johnathan will always find time to help his pupils, even if it's just a matter of a phonecall to reassure you that you are on the right track.

Johnathan has facilities for training at his home yard. Pupils who want to come and stay with their horse for a few days intensive training are also welcome. Johnathan prides himself on offering very good value for money.
