Residential training can be arranged from a few days up to a few weeks. Intense courses enable new skill development of the horse and rider as well as having the chance to "iron out" any issues. Repetition is key in horse or pony training, and having Johnathan's on hand each day really benefits the progression of the training. There is also the opportunity to accompany Johnathan when he is competing, train at other venues, and learn about management of the competition horse. Training folder with all the key points and exercises of your stay will be given so you can continue your training after your stay.

Accomodation is available locally, either in Minety (located 2 miles from Leigh Stud), at Leigh Stud or in your horse box. Catering is provided, breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. Entertainment can be arranged for evenings, which is particularly good for any group stays. Horses are stabled at Leigh Stud and will enjoy all the facilities, including : horse walker, turn out, stable with bedding and hay, and use of the arena.
